I have always had a fascination with the workings of the body at every level. Originating with my love of horses, my world of competitive riding, coaching and because of my own personal journey with chronic pain, I began a more in-depth exploration of how our bodies work, become injured and adapt to stresses, physical, emotional, and spiritual.

I have practiced Body Work for over 20 years, through a variety of modalities, including Reiki, Massage and Acutonics, culminating in becoming a Registered Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist (RCST®).  Biodynamic CranioSacral Therapy (BCST) has been such a powerful part of my own healing and finding safety to live life pain free. My chronic pain began when I tried to fit into a world of academia, a mind based, logical life, ignoring my natural connections to the earths’ rhythms, nature, animals and particularly horses.

I believe we are shifting global consciousness by remembering the ancient skills of listening, being, and presence; coming back to nature, animals, the rhythm of the planet and the very essence of life that drives the desire to create order and health in our own animal body.

I have a fascination with the psychological and emotional part of us, the parts that are mostly ignored in our western culture, and how that affects all aspects of the body. Over many years, I have learned, and been trained in, how to sit with the ‘discomfort’ of looking at my shadow. The pains, beliefs and insights from the holding of protective patterns that I created, originally for safety, that no longer serve me.  As a result, I LOVE supporting other people in finding the same relief and joy for life.

I have been offering my RCST® services at Vernon Active Health and from my home-based Deep Creek Healing Room near Salmon Arm. My Clients, 100’s of Clients, range from an Ironman athlete with concussions to counsellors, doctors and other professionals with stress related burnout.  Others come for support with lifes’ transitions, such as grief, relationship struggles and/or work stresses.

I also offer BCST for horses through my business, HorseCentred. Please visit me there too!
